Nursing School Semester 2

I'm not going to be doing a week to week posting this semester. I don't have the time or frankly the energy/desire to write weekly posts. The first couple of couple of weeks have been crazy. I've had two weeks of clinicals already. In those two weeks, I've given shots, given meds, started new IV bags, taken out IV's and done many other things. I cannot believe how much I've learned how to do in such a short time. I feel so exhilarated after clinicals. I've just been having so much fun. It's a TON of work, but I just know that this is what I'm supposed to be doing.

I've also had visitors the first few weeks of school. My cousin came here for a week and I got to spend a lot of time with him. It was awesome being able to spend so much one-on-one time with him. We're both the eldest children of our families, and we're almost birthday twins, so we've always been pretty close. My dad also came for a weekend which was really nice too! I so loved my time with him. He took me out for dinner and we went to a movie. I was so sad to see him leave. It's been a crazy slow/fast/busy semester, but it's been so great. Four more weeks and it's Spring Break!
